Summary: The game opened with a recap as to how Floyd (Shannon's character as an NPC) got locked in the trunk of a car, three blocks from Club Psilence. Cyric (Joe's character) explained that the two men were most likely Nightlord Hounds, and that they were hunting Floyd because of his potential P.P.E. amount. The rest of the party convened back at the Club, and spent the remainder of Halloween evening listening to Cyric explain about the Nightlords, Nightlands, and all things pertinent about a possible Dark Day coming to this reality. Soon after, Jason's PC was contacted by Brett's character (as another NPC again) about how his spybots had seen some of the baboons that attacked James while back. The party used the information that Brett gathered to track the animals down to the Crius Building near Clear Lake. City records indicated it was a former research facility, and was currently owned by Dr. Richard Onifer (formerly of Houston Bio-Labs). The building looked deserted, and Zoe made a quick recon to determine that several of the animals were inhabiting the basement level (with another one possibly on a third floor). The party broke into the building, worked from the top floor down, and eventually invaded the basement. The baboons tried to ambush the party, but failed; some even tried using nitroglycerine on Cage. The dead body of Dr. Onifer was found sitting in front of some sort of radiation unit, that the animals had put up as some sort of throne. The game ended with the PCs clearing out of the building before the chemical smell overwhelmed them.

Summary: The game started out with Floyd (Shannon) recovering from his all-night Halloween party at Club Psilence. Nothing like a college kid waking up in a heart-shaped bed with a couple nymphos sleeping around him. As he sauntered over to the bar to start drinking at 11 a.m., Andre introduced him to another club goer, by the name of Nathan. Both Andre and Nathan had some concerns about a missing customer named Sarah, who was last seen in the vicinity of individuals whom Joe's PC identified as Nightlord Hounds. Taking it upon himself to find her, Floyd recruited Zoe (Leigh) and Chris (James) to investigate her apartment. Using Object Read, Floyd was able to determine that Sarah was alive, but being held against her will. Using several Research rolls, the PCs (now with Brett, Julie, & Patrick) located where Sarah was being held: the Diamond Gentlemen's Club. The group arrived at the scene, and used their various abilities to scope out the building. Things started to ramp up, when Zoe phased through a wall to peek inside a darkened room, only to have one of the Hounds damage her (while she was intangible). Things were more complicated when players started to fry the circuit breaker box in the back and storm the front. Combat ensued as one of the Hounds stationed in the club went after a spellcasting Don (Patrick) and telekinetic-kicking Floyd. The battle spilled out into the street with Brett's PC accidentally lobbing mini-missiles at Julie's PC (and a supportive Jack Tower). The combat ended (and the police sirens began) after the remaining PCs were able to destroy the Hound using distance attacks. The group fled the scene before the local authorities arrived.

Summary: Things got off to a late start because of earlier obligations I had to take care of. The party continued their adventures in trying to free Sarah Colbert from the Nightlord Hounds. We picked up just after the battle outside the Diamond Club, when the surviving PCs were attempting to save their downed comrades. Zoe (Leigh) and Chris (James) received text messages to check out "All About Vinyl" and "Ask for the Medicine Man" on their way to the hospital with Shannon, Julie & Patrick's characters. Brock (Jason) went instead and found Charles Colvin, a blind man with the ability to heal. Brock and Charles (not “in charge”) went to the hospital to help the downed PCs, and everyone was quickly back up in mind and body; except Shannon's PC since Adam (glad you made it) was assigned to play Floyd for the evening. The party returned to the Diamond Club (now closed and police-taped off) to search for clues. Using Floyd's abilities of Object Read, they were able to ascertain that Sarah was locked in a storage unit in Pearland. Focus on Sarah quickly moved to focus on Onyx and his whereabouts. The PCs found out that Onyx and Cassie Fandango were nearby, and were observing the party. The players initiated hostilities against Onxy & Cassie, and a combat ensued. Onyx focused on protecting Cassie as best as he could, and tried to flee from the eight PCs. In the end, Cassie was rendered unconscious.
Combat: The PCs defeat Onyx while trying to protect Cassie, allowing the Nightlords to bring the Dark Day to Earth.
