Episode Guide

Each weekend, the players assembled to play what has been designated as an episode. Each week, a recap of the most recent episode’s happenings was posted to allow those who have been missing for many or few episodes to get a feel for what they have missed.

Episode 1

Date: November 16, 1996

Attendance: Andy, Chris, David, Gloria, J.D.

Summary: The PCs unite toward a common cause: destroying the Invid presence on Earth.

Combat: Two Invid scouts are destroyed.

Episode 2

Date: November 23, 1996

Attendance: Andy, David, Gloria, J.D.

Summary: Sgt. Gregory O’Rourke receives a transmission from Jameson, an old friend from before the invasion. Entering the ruins of Havana to meet him, he finds the reunion less than friendly.

Combat: Four Invid scouts are destroyed.

Episode 3

Date: November 30, 1996

Attendance: Andy, Chris, David, Glenn, Gloria, J.D., Mark

Summary: When the PCs answer a distress call, they are captured by General Leyton and his troops, who has been driven over the edge and is still waiting for new orders from RDF Command.

Combat: Three Invid armored scouts are destroyed.

Episode 4

Date: December 7, 1996

Attendance: Andy, Chris, David, Gloria, J.D., Mark

Summary: The PCs find a marauder holding the civilians hostage. Joey Smith recognizes the man, Benteen, who came from the same cybernetically engineered place he did.

Combat: Four Invid armored scouts are destroyed.

Episode 5

Date: December 14, 1996

Attendance: Andy, David, Gloria, J.D., Mark, Wendell

Summary: The PCs rescue a young escapee from the Omega project who is being hunted by Invid troopers. But unknown to them, the boy is carrying a paralyzing plague.

Combat: Two Invid troopers are destroyed.

Episode 6

Date: December 21, 1996

Attendance: Andy, David, Gloria, J.D., Mark, Wendell

Summary: The Invid seek out Lisa Green, an artist and former acquaintance Sandra McBain.

Combat: None.

Episode 7

Date: December 28, 1996

Attendance: Andy, David, Gloria, J.D., Mark, Wendell

Summary: An impostor is posing as Gunnery Sgt. Morris and luring REF refugees to reveal themselves, only to be captured by the Invid. A couple of humans manage to escape this fate, and when they meet the real Morris, decide to get their revenge.

Combat: Two Invid scouts and two troopers are destroyed.

Episode 8

Date: January 4, 1996

Attendance: Andy, David, Gloria, J.D., Mark, Wendell

Summary: During a raid on an Invid hive, the PCs uncover information on the four phases of Project New World Order, but the Invid orders the hive to self-destruct, taking out PC allies along the way.

Combat: Four Invid armored scouts and one trooper are destroyed.

Episode 9

Date: January 11, 1996

Attendance: Andy, David, Gloria, J.D., Mark, Wendell

Summary: While investigating Invid communications in Texas, the PCs find an underground sanctuary called Haven, where they are welcome to stay and live the war out in peace.

Combat: Four Invid troopers are destroyed.

Episode 10

Date: January 18, 1996

Attendance: Andy, David, Gloria, J.D., Mark, Wendell

Summary: Two resistance fighters want to join the PCs, with one managing to sneak into the PCs camp. The PCs are far from pleased that their unit has been compromised.

Combat: Two Invid shock troopers are destroyed.
