Important NPCs

There are several NPCs who are important to the Raiders of the Gulf campaign. Each has a unique relationship with the PCs; some are allies, some are antagonists. Each NPC has a clear motivation which impacts motivations in the campaign. While all NPCs allow for the flavor of any campaign, only the NPCs listed below have had a clear impact upon the characters. Alignments are posted as follows: Principled PRI, Scrupulous SCR, Unprincipled UNP, Anarchist ANA, Aberrant ABE, Miscreant MIS, Diabolic DIA.

Crazy Dave

Human male anarchist Rifts crazy 4

fallen through a Rift, he ends up in Cuba making himself captain of the S.S. Bad Idea, helping the PCs to the mainland.

Petty Officer Charlene Flowers

Human female scrupulous REF bio-maintenance engineer 3

Born in space and originally on the fast track for a military specialist position, Flower was injured in an accidental explosion of a protoculture engine during a training exercise on Tirol. Forced into a desk job, she instead chose to change over to engineering, returning to Earth with the First Reclamation Fleet. Separated from her battalion, Flowers remained in hiding, scrounging what REF mecha she could while supporting local guerilla fighters who continued to battle Invid forces.

Iron Eye

Human male miscreant mercenary 7

captain of The Cutlass, a pirate raider of the Gulf of Mexico with a SLV Beachmaster, but he is defeated by the PCs.

Fred Karle

Human male unprincipled mercenary 6

captain of the S.S. Atashiana Moru, this tramp steamer transports the PCs to Cuba to recover remains of crashed REF ships.

Harvey Richter

Human male unprincipled freedom fighter 2

leader of the human neutral settlement of Reynosa, his connection with Fred Karle gets the PCs to Cuba.
