Episode Guide

Each weekend, the players assembled to play what has been designated as an episode. Each week, a recap of the most recent episode’s happenings was posted to allow those who have been missing for many or few episodes to get a feel for what they have missed.

Episode 1

Date: April 27, 1996

Attendance: Boris, Jeremy, John, Ron

Summary: REF forces make planetfall and the PCs unite for a common cause: rid the Earth of the Invid presence.

Combat: Two Invid scouts are destroyed.

Episode 2

Date: May 4, 1996

Attendance: Boris, Jeremy, John, Ron

Summary: Two members of Defiant company shoots down Lt. Rokonu, thinking he's a Invid sympathizer. Their leader happens to be an old acquaintance of Style Bluemont.

Combat: Two Invid scouts and two armored scouts are destroyed.

Episode 3

Date: May 11, 1996

Attendance: Boris, Jeremy, John, Ron

Summary: The PCs travel to Florida to access an Invid hive and try to gain information about Invid movements.

Combat: Three Invid armored scouts are destroyed.

Episode 4

Date: May 18, 1996

Attendance: Boris, Greg, Jeremy, John, Karin, Ron

Summary: A deadly virus is sweeping through North America. Vance Joseph proposes to infiltrate Invid chemical factory dressed in his old sympathizer uniform to steal a vaccine.

Combat: Three Invid troopers are destroyed.

Episode 5

Date: May 25, 1996

Attendance: Boris, Greg, Jeremy, John, Karin, Ron, Steve

Summary: A resistance group has fallen victim to a insanity inducing drug. Unfortunately, McGruder has also taken a sip of the contaminated water and soon becomes convinced his teammates are Invid.

Combat: Two Invid troopers and five scouts are destroyed.

Episode 6

Date: June 1, 1996

Attendance: Boris, Greg, Jeremy, John, Karin, Ron, Steve

Summary: Cortez has been injured and Delano goes in search of help in a nearby settlement. Delano is captured and is put on trial.

Combat: None.

Episode 7

Date: June 8, 2005

Attendance: Boris, Greg, Jeremy, John, Karin, Ron, Steve

Summary: It is the 15th anniversary of the 2nd REF return fleet. As the PCs dwell on the remains of a crashed starship, the Invid to take this opportunity to ambush their adversary.

Combat: Four Invid troopers are destroyed.

Episode 8

Date: June 15, 1996

Attendance: Boris, Jeremy, John, Ron, Steve

Summary: Sparber tells the PCs that he and his team have been asked to make contact with a representative from Eden in one of the harshest places on Earth: the acid-ridden Houston.

Combat: None.

Episode 9

Date: June 22, 1996

Attendance: Boris, Greg, Jeremy, John, Karin, Ron, Steve

Summary: When Freedom One, the voice of the Gulf Coast Resistance radio organizes a meeting between the five most powerful Resistance leaders, she contacts Lt. Johnny Rokonu and his team to gather the leaders together.

Combat: Three Invid shock troopers are destroyed.

Episode 10

Date: June 29, 1996

Attendance: Boris, Greg, Jeremy, John, Karin, Ron, Steve

Summary: The Invid decide to put all their power into destroying the PCs and other resistance groups.

Combat: Two Invid troopers and two shock troopers are destroyed.
