Episode Guide

Each weekend, the players assembled to play what has been designated as an episode. Each week, a recap of the most recent episode’s happenings was posted to allow those who have been missing for many or few episodes to get a feel for what they have missed.

Episode 1

Date: July 27, 2002

Summary: Steel Spider & the Pincers attack Rice Stadium, to kidnap Richard Achterberg and his ionic electrical generator.

Combat: Steel Spider's mecha and his four Pincher combat-armor henchmen are defeated.

Episode 2

Date: August 3, 2002

Attendance: Brett, Chris, David, Gloria, J.D., Mark

Summary: First experiment with Archibald Ireland leads to power outage in Galveston, as the Justicars attempt to track down the funding behind Steel Spider. The Justicars meet Bluestreak.

Combat: None.

Episode 3

Date: August 10, 2002

Attendance: Brett, Chris, David, Gloria, J.D., Mark

Summary: PCs battle Steel Spider at Thortex Facility. Archibald Ireland kills Silverhawk.

Combat: As he emerges from his energy matrix, Ireland vaporizes Silverhawk.

Episode 4

Date: August 17, 2002

Attendance: Brett, Chris, David, Gloria, J.D., Jerry

Summary: PCs battle Archibald Ireland. Edroh rift is closed by Tempest. Silverhawk and Lovecroft split into two separate personas.

Combat: Ireland is destroyed. Later, Edroh machines are destroyed by Tempest.

Episode 5

Date: August 24, 2002

Summary: The Monolith is found encased in amber prison; PCs encounter Bron.

Combat: None.

Episode 6

Date: August 31, 2002

Summary: PCs deal with character issue for their alter-egos.

Combat: None.

Episode 7

Date: September 7, 2002

Summary: Steel contacts Ochoan starship. Thunderstrike battles Nattereri battleship in Gulf of Mexico.

Combat: Thunderstrike destroys an alien battleship.

Episode 8

Date: September 14, 2002

Attendance: Chris, David, Gloria, J.D., Jerry

Summary: PCs battle Systems Failure Bugs in downtown Houston.

Combat: The Justicars destroy eight Army Ants, one Assassin Bug, and one Killer Bee.

Episode 9

Date: September 21, 2002

Summary: PCs experiment on bug parts.

Combat: None.

Episode 10

Date: October 5, 2002

Attendance: Brett, Chris, David, Gloria, J.D., Jerry, Mark

Summary: Argentinean super-soldiers kill Thunderstrike in alternate time-line.

Combat: Several PCs and NPCs are killed, but none of it matter as Silverhawk resets the timeline.

Summary: PCs subdue Argentinean super-soldiers near Texas City.

Combat: Twelve Experiment/Super-Soldiers are defeated.

Episode 12

Date: October 19, 2002

Summary: Tim Kelly and CHIMERA host auditions for new Justicars team.

Combat: None.

Episode 13

Date: October 26, 2002

Attendance: Brett, Chris, David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Jerry, Leigh

Summary: Steel encounters Night Shift at Interplanetary Geosciences facility.

Combat: The Justicars battle the five members of Night Shift (Black Jack, Dermys, Futility, Philigree, and Twilight), but they are able to get away.

Episode 14

Date: November 2, 2002

Attendance: Chris, David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Jerry, Leigh

Summary: A dimensional rift appears to Shrull dimension.

Combat: Several aliens let loose in downtown Houston are apprehended.

Episode 15

Date: November 9, 2002

Attendance: Chris, David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Jerry, Leigh

Summary: Steel battles Night Shift at IGI in Humble. Thunderstrike and Silverhawk battle Warhawk in orbit near Terranova.

Combat: The follow-up encounter with Night Shift ends with their incarceration. Warhawk causes trouble in orbit, until both sides are forced to retreat.

Episode 16

Date: November 16, 2002

Summary: PCs meet Shard & Dr. Littletree from alternate dimension. Valkyrie has first encounter with Nightshade.

Combat: None.

Episode 17

Date: November 23, 2002

Summary: Nightshade battles PCs at A Stych-In-Time, then loot her treasury.

Combat: The Justicars kill a Rifts night stalker dragon.

Episode 18

Date: November 30, 2002

Summary: Justicars kill Steel Spider during sting operation.

Combat: Steel Spider dies when his combat mecha detonates.

Episode 19

Date: December 7, 2002

Summary: PCs investigate Houston-area supernatural murders, met John Q. Public.

Combat: None.

Episode 20

Date: December 14, 2002

Summary: PCs investigate murders, battle the Beast at A Stych-In-Time.

Combat: The Justicars destroy the Beast.

Episode 21

Summary: PCs investigate ongoing street war between rival Triad clans, & pirated freighter. PCs capture Marc Southwell, gaining info on the Hitters, Inc.

Combat: None.

Episode 22

Date: January 4, 2003

Attendance: Brett, Chris, David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Jerry, Leigh

Summary: PCs battle Hitters, Inc. (Prodigal, Killzone, Salvo, Shakedown) and Kagemusha Ryuujin ninjas.

Combat: The Justicars get the drop on Hitters, Inc., but Valkyrie and Captain Excelsior are killed.

Episode 23

Date: January 11, 2003

Attendance: Chris, David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Jerry, Leigh

Summary: PCs finish off remaining members of Hitters, Inc.

Combat: With fresh reinforcements, the Justicars deal with Hitter, Inc., but the ninjas escape the warzone.

Episode 24

Date: January 18, 2003

Attendance: Brett, Chris, David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Jerry, Leigh

Summary: Argentinean super-soldiers assault Justicars Headquarters. Theena sets fire to St. Joseph emergency room. Brice Drew (Heather Goza’s fiancée) dies.

Combat: The Justicars defend their HQ, and capture ten Experiment/Super-Soldiers.

Episode 25

Date: January 25, 2003

Attendance: Chris, David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Leigh

Summary: PCs are led to believe that Valkyrie is trapped on Asgard, in need of help to retrieve Frey’s sword.

Combat: Seven rock trolls and three jotan are driven off when investigating Asgard.

Episode 26

Date: February 1, 2003

Attendance: David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Jerry, Leigh

Summary: PCs consult Yggdrasil Millenium Tree and Well of the Worlds, set off to capture Loki.

Combat: The Justicars encounter Dog Boys and destroy castle of vines.

Episode 27

Date: February 8, 2003

Attendance: Brett, Chris, David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Leigh

Summary: PCs journey to Skorgard, work with Colm & Tholos, manipulate Bartok & Talia, and overthrow Klang and Clod in Jotan uprising organized by Rook.

Combat: A score of jotan are killed during the Justicar-led uprising to bring Valkyrie back.

Episode 28

Date: February 15, 2003

Attendance: Chris, David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Jerry, Leigh

Summary: PCs return from Asgard, investigate the Katy bubble, visit new headquarters, and work on personal lives. Valkyrie works with Casey & Adrian.

Combat: None.

Episode 29

Date: February 22, 2003

Attendance: Brett, Chris, David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Leigh

Summary: The Justicars decide to split into 3 teams to better handle emergencies. The PCs slaughter Coyle refugees attempting to rift to mainstream timeline, and John Germain closes the portal by kicking over a bowl of blood.

Combat: Fifteen Coyle refugees are killed as they battle to the death.

Episode 30

Date: March 29, 2003

Attendance: David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Jerry, Leigh

Summary: Silverhawk and Valkyrie deal with Bron over Casey & Adrian.

Combat: None, but the Katy Bubble has a stress test from repeated attacks.

Episode 31

Date: April 5, 2003

Attendance: David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Leigh

Summary: Silverhawk has vision of future Casey. Rook takes over John Germain’s textile company. Crimson Spider investigates death of Errol Glazer.

Combat: None.

Episode 32

Date: April 12, 2003

Attendance: David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Jerry, Leigh

Summary: PCs make pre-emptive strike on mini-Rifts being formed by Witchling.

Combat: A Rifts witchling is destroyed by the Justicars.

Episode 33

Date: April 26, 2003

Attendance: David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Leigh

Summary: PCs attempt to penetrate the Katy Bubble. Silverhawk breaks through, attempts to access the Brodkill Rift.

Combat: None.

Episode 34

Date: May 10, 2003

Attendance: David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Jerry, Leigh

Summary: Silverhawk is transported to alternate Monarch timeline, meets the alternate version of Justicars, encounters Calpernia’s daughter. He returns with Adrian Prime to mainstream timeline. Joe encounters Calpernia. Rook visits Henotes Island with John Proctor.

Combat: None.

Episode 35

Date: May 17, 2003

Attendance: David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Jerry, Joe, Leigh

Summary: Lightning deceives Calpernia Prime for Psionic rings. Darius Lovecroft breaks into Justicar HQ for information about the timestream.

Combat: Darius Lovecroft is knocked-out quickly. Shade is nearly killed by enraged Thunderstrike.

Episode 36

Date: May 24, 2003

Attendance: David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Jerry, Leigh

Summary: Millennium Tree calls Montoya to be the protector for Casey. The Justicars attempt to track down super team responsible for bank heists.

Combat: While battling Dark Force (Cutthroat, Eighty-Eight, Pulsar, Sledge, Thangar, Thug), the Justicars are forced to retreat before all are captured..

Episode 37

Date: May 31, 2003

Attendance: David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Leigh

Summary: Montoya receives new body from Casey & Bron. The Justicars ambush and capture/kill members of Dark Force, and free captured PCs & ESWAT officers.

Combat: The Justicars track down remaining Dark Force members, and defeat them.

Episode 38

Date: June 14, 2003

Attendance: David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Jerry, Leigh

Summary: The new Danger Room at Justicars Headquarters is put to the test, including ESWAT scenarios.

Combat: Simulated combat is not the real thing, but it was all that happened.

Episode 39

Date: June 21, 2003

Attendance: David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Leigh

Summary: Force Four kills a "rogue" Intrepid, so the PCs investigate inconsistencies in Dallas.

Combat: None.

Episode 40

Date: June 28, 2003

Attendance: David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Jerry, Leigh

Summary: Justicars and Force Four battle in downtown Dallas.

Combat: Force Four (Brute, Firestorm, Mr. Stretch, Phantom Girl) fight an epic battle in downtown Dallas, narrowly eking out a win.

Episode 41

Date: July 5, 2003

Attendance: David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Leigh

Summary: Kagemusha Ryuujin ninjas battle the Justicars for the Thorn of Oblivion.

Combat: Eight enhanced ninjas are destroyed.

Episode 42

Date: July 12, 2003

Attendance: David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Jerry, Leigh

Summary: The public identities of the Justicars discover the public identity of Warhawk. The PCs use their resources to set him up, then defeat him and his henchmen at his Magnolia base.

Combat: Warhawk and his five henchmen are defeated during an early evening ambush.

Episode 43

Date: July 26, 2003

Attendance: David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Leigh

Summary: NASA contacts the Justicars about a “shimmer” on their orbital sensors. The party treks into space to find a large starship on the far side of Earth’s moon.

Combat: None.

Episode 44

Date: August 2, 2003

Attendance: David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Jerry, Leigh, Mark

Summary: Gaining access to the starship, the Justicars finds duplicates of Bron (as all members of the Thermaisan Majest look identical). Silverhawk “barters” with Ozcar, but Dr. Little Tree destroys the ship.

Combat: The Justicars battle security measures on the Thermaisan Majest starship before it self-destructs.

Episode 45

Date: August 16, 2003

Attendance: David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Jerry, Leigh

Summary: Strange anomalies draw the Justicars to Hermann Park, where Silverhawk and Thunderstrike are forced to battle each other.

Combat: Anomalies in the timestream cause Silverhawk and Thunderstrike to get into a brief dust-up.

Episode 46

Date: August 23, 2003

Attendance: David, Gloria, J.D., Jason, Leigh

Summary: Count Magnus and his coven in Cypress are destroyed.

Combat: Three vampires are destroyed by daylight, while the remaining thirteen dissolve in gallons of holy water.

Episode 47

Summary: A dimensional rift opens to a labyrinth filled with golems and other evils.

Combat: Four iron golems and one undead champion are destroyed.

Episode 48

Date: September 6, 2003

Summary: The Justicars defeat the Lizard Mage and close the Mid-Town rift.

Combat: The Lizard Mage is vaporized on a magical firestorm, and is presumed dead.

Episode 49

Summary: Local gangs are infected by a new drug called Warp.

Combat: None.

Episode 50

Date: September 27, 2003

Summary: Warp distributors and Tango Blast gang members are defeated in Baytown.

Combat: Twelve mutated gang members are defeated.

Episode 51

Date: October 4, 2003

Attendance: David, Gloria, J.D., Rayana

Summary: The Justicars are drawn into a mystic war between two rival wizards over the rights to a powerful ley line nexus.

Combat: The opposing wizard, Khabarin Iqora, is defeated by Unaxia Summer and the Justicars, and sent into another dimension.

Episode 52

Date: October 11, 2003

Attendance: David, Gloria, Jason, Jerry, Leigh

Summary: Darius Lovecroft is sent back home to his timeline, but not without enjoying some last fun in Houston. Brozamul interferes.

Combat: Six mutated gang members are taken into custody.

Episode 53

Date: October 18, 2003

Attendance: Chris, David, Gloria, Mark

Summary: Casey and the Jusicars battle Brozamul, forcing him from Earth’s reality. Casey is sent away as he closes the Katy dome.

Combat: Brozamul and his six demon underlings are vanquished.

Episode 54

Date: November 1, 2003

Attendance: Chris, David, Gloria

Summary: Steel Spider’s fail-safe device releases autonomous spider robots across the Houston area.

Combat: Ten mini-Arachnid robots are destroyed.

Episode 55

Date: November 8, 2003

Summary: Brodkil demons terrorize the Magnolia area.

Combat: Five Brodkil demons are subdued.

Episode 56

Summary: The Justicars help the Megaversal Legion track down a witchling. They later settle on El Calafate in South Patagonia.

Combat: A Rifts witchling is thwarted by the Justicars.

Episode 57

Summary: Missing infants from local human hospitals lead the Justicars to believe there is a supernatural connection to the crimes.

Combat: None.

Episode 58

Summary: The Black Paladin battles Valkyrie for the missing children.

Combat: Valkyrie defeat the Black Paladin in solo combat.

Episode 59

Date: December 6, 2003

Summary: Justicars use their resources to learn about Archibald Ireland’s plans against them, using their resources to ruin him financially and embarrass him socially.

Combat: None.

Summary: Dr. Little Tree dies. Silverhawk leaves to explore other dimensions.
